Course Type: Online homeschool courses designed for home-educated young people who want a structured, tutor-led program with video lessons, graded assignments, exam skills and revision guidance, full tutor support, and small group sizes.
Level: GCSE / IGCSE
Subject: Maths
Ages: 12–17
Format: “Live” (weekly scheduled real-time lessons) or “Flexible / Recorded” (work at your own pace)
Exam Board: Edexcel
Duration: 1 year (designed to be completed within 1 academic year but can be extended to 2 years, or shortened to less than a year, as needed )

Syllabus Overview
There are two different levels of exams for IGCSE Maths: Foundation and Higher, they involve writing different exam papers … both have 2 papers of 100 marks each and calculators are allowed in both papers. They have a 40 mark overlap so the last 40% of the questions in the Foundation paper are the same questions as the first 40% of the Higher paper.
Deciding which tier is most suitable, Foundation or Higher, is vital for your young person – based on their future goals and their base knowledge; we can provide a skills checklist that can help you determine your young person’s knowledge and if they have the core knowledge for the level they choose.
Course Overview
There are 3 different course options, all provide a structured, tutor-led program with video lessons, graded assignments, exam skills and revision guidance, full tutor support, and small group sizes.
The 3 different courses available differ depending on which part of the papers you would like to cover and what your starting level (confident and capable) of KS3 Maths knowledge is. Combinations of courses are possible (2 courses can be done consecutively or concurrently) to ensure full coverage (a £75 discount would apply). This is outlined in detail below:
