Psychology – Illusions and Perception (6 session short course – £45)

How do optical illusions work? Why do we sometimes see things that are not there at all? How does the human eye see?
In this course, we look at how perception – how our eyes work and how our brain processes information. We see (pardon the pun) how perception is important for babies’ development and juries and eye witnesses! A brilliant course for learners interested in science, how the human body works or psychology.
This is an excellent stand-alone course and also is a great GCSE taster course for GCSE Psychology!
This short course includes: weekly online, video tutorials; a wide range of opportunities to be inspired and be creative (projects, quizzes and activities with personal feedback); weekly learning documents plus extra support materials and resources; direct access to a passionate, knowledgeable tutor; easy access via the online Canvas learning platform (and Zoom)
Courses for 11+ year olds are available to enrol in year-round, with both an “Online, Live” format as well as an “Online,Flexible Timing/Recorded” format, subject to availability.
