This online IGCSE Business homeschool course is designed for home-educated students who want a structured, tutor-led program with video lessons, graded assignments, exam skills and revision guidance, full tutor support, and small group sizes.
IGCSE Business attracts a wide range of home educated young people. Perfect for the want-to-be corporate tycoon or enterprising entrepreneur! This subject covers both big business and small business, spanning a range of vital and interesting business topics: business activity and the changing environment; human resources; accounting and finance; marketing; production. Students will develop knowledge and understanding of: how businesses operate; different functions within businesses; differences between business types. We will explore different business contexts ranging from small enterprises to large multinationals as well as how businesses operate in local, national and global contexts. Perfect for students with an entrepreneurial bent as well as those interested in medium and large businesses as well! Topics covered include: People, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Growth and Success, Ownership Structures, and more.

The Pearson Edexcel International GCSE in Business qualification enables students to:

All courses are taught by subject experts who are current/former home educators, and all courses are designed and created by the person teaching the course.

A: Yes, the course includes full tutor support which means: regular, detailed, personal feedback on assignments; tutor availability via email for the duration of the course; weekly live drop in “office hours” on zoom

A: Yes, there are ample opportunities throughout the live tutorials for students to participate and ask questions
Q: Are your class sizes limited?
A: Yes, all class sizes are small and limited in number, to ensure an optimal level of support, personalisation, flexibility and engagement

A: No, neither are required for learners; webcams tend to give young people the heebeejeebies and so are not required and participation/questions/quizzes/etc. all use text (not voice) participation by young people
