UK Law, Power & Politics (6 sessions – £45) online, tutor-led small group short course for home educated / homeschooling students

Course Summary: Law, Politics and Citizenship in the UK – how are laws created in the UK?  what does ‘citizenship’ actually mean?   What is the difference between being a deviant and being a criminal? We answer those questions and explore other topics such as how does the legal system work in the UK, what are lobby and ‘interest’ groups, and what kind of power does the media hold Perfect for young people interested in UK law, politics or sociology. This is an excellent stand-alone course but is also a great GCSE Sociology taster course!

Who This Course is For: Young people aged 11yrs – 15yrs

What this Course Includes: Each small-group short course includes: weekly video tutorials (avail. 24/7); support learning materials / documents / resources; weekly activities (such as projects, quizzes, assignments with personal feedback, etc. ); direct access to a passionate, knowledgeable tutor; easy access via the online “Canvas” learning platform (and Zoom).
