Scientific Skills – Preparing for KS3 & KS4 Science (6 sessions – £45) An online, tutor-led small group short course for home educated / homeschooling students

Course Summary: This course is going to cover all the essential skills for science, how to stay safe in the lab, designing experiments, ensuring data is accurate and reliable, equipment you may come across, drawing scientific diagrams, tables and graphs, some basic maths skills. There will be opportunities to put our knowledge into practice and develop strong skills in working scientifically which will set you up to succeed in any further studies in science.
(when taken alongside an HME IGCSE science course (except IGCSE Astronomy), the fee will be reduced to £30)
A fundamental precursor to upper KS3 and KS4 Science .

Who This Course is For: Young people aged 13+ yrs

What this Course Includes: Each small-group short course includes: weekly video tutorials (avail. 24/7); support learning materials / documents / resources; weekly activities (such as projects, quizzes, assignments with personal feedback, etc. ); direct access to a passionate, knowledgeable tutor; easy access via the online “Canvas” learning platform (and Zoom).
