Scientific Skills – “Preparing for KS3 & KS4 Science” (13yrs+) (6-sessions) … £45 (or £30 with an HME IGCSE Science Course)

This course is going to cover all the essential skills for science, how to stay safe in the lab, designing experiments, ensuring data is accurate and reliable, equipment you may come across, drawing scientific diagrams, tables and graphs, some basic maths skills. There will be opportunities to put our knowledge into practice and develop strong skills in working scientifically which will set you up to succeed in any further studies in science.
This course will will ideally be taken by all learners doing an HME IGCSE science course – because it lays down the fundamental knowledge and skills needed for progression through KS3 and KS4! (when taken alongside an HME IGCSE science course (except IGCSE Astronomy), the fee will be reduced to £30)
A fundamental precursor to upper KS3 and KS4 Science .

Each HME short course includes: weekly online, video tutorials; a wide range of opportunities to be inspired and be creative (projects and activities with personal feedback); weekly learning documents plus extra support materials and resources; direct access to a passionate, knowledgeable tutor; easy access via the online Canvas learning platform (and Zoom)

2) Online, Live Format – starting Tuesday February 24th, 12:00 – 1:00 (2026)
