AN INTRODUCTION TO ORGANIC CHEMISTRY (6-SESSION COURSE – £45)

This is the next level course for people who have done the ‘Introduction to Chemistry course or have a good foundational understanding of chemistry.
Organic chemistry can be a bit of a stumbling block for many students at GCSE level but is actually a really fascinating topic which is hugely relevant in our day to day lives. This course will provide an excellent foundation for students wishing to continue their studies in chemistry to GCSE level. We will be discovering what exactly organic chemistry, where organic compounds come from, how they are structured and what they are used for, we will see how they impact climate change and investigate the organic chemicals found in your home.

This course is an excellent stand-alone course and is also a PRE-IGCSE courses.

Each short course includes: weekly online, video tutorials; a wide range of opportunities to be inspired and be creative (projects, quizzes and activities with personal feedback); weekly learning documents plus extra support materials and resources; direct access to a passionate, knowledgeable tutor; easy access via the online Canvas learning platform (and Zoom)

Our courses for 11+ year olds are available to enrol in year-round, with both an “Online, Live” format as well as an “Online,Flexible Timing/Recorded” format, subject to availability.
