AN INTRODUCTION TO ORGANIC CHEMISTRY (6-SESSION COURSE – £45)

Organic chemistry is a really fascinating topic which is hugely relevant in our day to day lives. We will be exploring where organic compounds come from, what they are used for, we will see how they impact climate change and investigate the organic chemicals found in your home. (‘Getting Started in Chemistry’ and ‘Understanding Chemical Bonds’ (or solid pre-knowledge in these areas) are prerequisites)
An excellent stand-alone course & PRE-IGCSE course.

An excellent precursor to students hoping to do a chemistry IGCSE, as well as a superb stand-alone course (and this course is also included in the 1yr Upper KS3 Combined Chemistry Curriculum program – details are here ).
