
Green Architecture (a 6 session short course for ages 9-11: £45)
We look at houses built over waterfalls, overpasses for animal traffic and trees made of iron. Looking at the art and science of architecture through an environmental perspective. Each week we look at a new type of structure and a different aspect of sustainable architecture. If your young person loves design and the environment, this course could be perfect for them! Includes aspects of geography, science, environment, art and design
Each short course includes: weekly online, video tutorials; a wide range of opportunities to be inspired and be creative (projects, quizzes and activities with personal feedback); weekly learning documents plus extra support materials and resources; direct access to a passionate, knowledgeable tutor; easy access via the online Canvas learning platform.
Our short courses for 9-11 year olds are available to enrol in year-round, with both an “Online, Live” format as well as an “Online,Flexible Timing/Recorded” format, subject to availability.
