Exploring Life Processes with a Focus on Fungi (6 sessions – £45) An online, tutor-led small group short course for home educated / homeschooling students

Course Summary: Is a rock alive? What about a butterfly? Or a virus? Or a sheep carcass? What makes something alive? This is the focus of this course which will unpack the seven life processes and what they practically look like in a variety of different organisms with a particular focus on exploring the weird and wonderful world of fungi. An excellent precursor to students hoping to do a biology IGCSE, as well as an excellent stand-alone course. This course is also available as part of the KS3 Biology Combined Curriculum Program .

Who This Course is For: Young people aged 13+ yrs

What this Course Includes: Each small-group short course includes: weekly video tutorials (avail. 24/7); support learning materials / documents / resources; weekly activities (such as projects, quizzes, assignments with personal feedback, etc. ); direct access to a passionate, knowledgeable tutor; easy access via the online “Canvas” learning platform (and Zoom).
