Essay Writing  (4 sessions – £45): online, tutor-led small group short course for home educated / homeschooling students

Course Summary: Do you have great ideas but you don’t know how to get them down on paper? Are you new to academic writing? Do you think developing your essay writing skills could boost your exam results? Then this is the course for you.
This 4 week course will take you through all the stages of essay writing: from research and planning, how to write an engaging introduction, structuring and developing your arguments, and sealing the deal with killer conclusions. Like all life skills, it’s easy when you know how. Good essay-writing skills are a fundamental prerequisite for IGCSE English Language and IGCSE English Literature; this course is an excellent preparation course to ensure young people have a chance to develop those skills before embarking on an English IGCSE.

Who This Course is For: Young people aged 11yrs+

What this Course Includes: Each small-group short course includes: weekly video tutorials (avail. 24/7); support learning materials / documents / resources; weekly activities (such as projects, quizzes, assignments with personal feedback, etc. ); direct access to a passionate, knowledgeable tutor; easy access via the online “Canvas” learning platform (and Zoom).
