1Yr” UPPER KS3 MATHEMATICS CURRICULUM PROGRAM (covers the core curriculum topics for Mathematics) AGES 13yrs+ (YEAR 9 (UK))

This is a 1 academic year Mathematics curriculum program for young people aged 13+ (suits UK Year 9). This program covers core curriculum topics for Year 9 and is extremely useful for building the foundation to prepare for KS4/IGCSE Maths. The program includes the full series of 5 KS3/Year 9 short courses – these courses are for learners who already have solid early KS3 Maths skills, as they are advanced KS3. All courses use a variety of activities to embed the skills, check understanding and promote mathematical thinking. And, optional extra challenges will be made available for those wanting to stretch themselves.

All short courses are 6 sessions long, and are available in both ‘live’ and ‘flexible/recorded’ formats. The fee for the combined curriculum package is £250. As well as the weekly tutorials, throughout the academic year there will be live, drop-in tutor ‘office hours’ on Zoom, for any questions/queries/chats etc.

The program includes all of the 5 upper KS3 six-session maths short courses:
1) Number Skills
2) Portion, Proportion and Probability
3) Straight Lines: Equations and Graphs
4) Algebra
5) Geometry
Each short course includes: weekly online, video tutorials; a wide range of homework / assignments /activities for inspiration and practice of knowledge & skills (and to be creative) with personal feedback; weekly learning documents, support materials and resources; direct access to a passionate, knowledgeable tutor; easy access via the online Canvas learning platform (and Zoom).

Covers a full 30 weeks of learning materials, for a full ‘academic year’. Total combined fee for the program is £250.

2.Online ‘Live’ format – for specific dates/times, see the individual course descriptions; the short courses included run in consecutive order, Wednesdays, 12:00 – 1:00, starting Sept 10 (2025) (places are limited)
