That’s a Lot of Energy (12yrs+) (6-sessions) £45

What exactly is energy? How do we harness its power and make it useful for our needs? This course will build up a strong foundation for understanding energy stores and transfers and we will dip in to some equations to help us explore efficiency and power. We will also think about how we can be conscious of our own energy use and consider changes that we can make to have a positive impact on the planets energy stores.
An excellent precursor to students hoping to do a physics IGCSE, as well as an excellent stand-alone course (and this course is also included in both the 1yr Upper KS3 Combined Physics Curriculum program – details are here and the 1yr Upper KS3 Live Science Curriculum program – details are here).

Each short course includes: weekly online, video tutorials; a wide range of opportunities to be inspired and be creative (projects and activities with personal feedback); weekly learning documents plus extra support materials and resources; direct access to a passionate, knowledgeable tutor; easy access via the online Canvas learning platform (and Zoom)
