Fancy a taste of studying history at (I)GCSE level? Try this Tudor England course – Henry VIII and his ministers. Through an exploration of one of the most notorious monarchs in British history and his relationships with the men who brought about the Reformation: the two Thomases – Wolsey and Cromwell, you will develop a deep understanding of the society and politics of life under King Hal.

You will also have the opportunity to try your hand at historical source evaluations and develop your skills as a historian to enable you to respond effectively to the demands of the subject at (I)GCSE.  *Can be substituted for The Normans as part of the full GCSE History course

Each HME short course includes: weekly online, video tutorials; a wide range of opportunities to be inspired and be creative (projects and activities with personal feedback); weekly learning documents plus extra support materials and resources; direct access to a passionate, knowledgeable tutor; easy access via the online Canvas learning platform (and Zoom)
