Portion, Proportion and Probability – Ages 13+ (UK upper KS3) (6 sessions – £60)

In this short course, you will learn all about calculations with fractions and percentages, including mixed numbers and improper fractions.
We will apply fractions to practical problems including tax and interest. Think of this as a hard topic? Not to worry, we will use bar models to visualise it all.
We will also look at some ratio problems and how to use scale factors to see how much further you have to walk according to your map and calculate probabilities using Venn diagrams.
Learners should have a solid foundation in lower KS3 maths before enrolling in this course, as this course is an advanced KS3 level course.
