Course Summary: This is a 1 academic year KS3 programme that includes a fun and fascinating series of ‘live’ format KS3 short courses, covering Biology, Chemistry, Physics and more! A 1 year curriculum program for young people aged 13+ … (UK Year 9, Year 8 if academically confident, and also ideal for year 10’s who want to take science GCSEs in year 11 but focusing on other subject GCSES in year 10).
The program includes the following 5 short courses, which run consecutively through the ’25/’26 academic year in the same timeslot … Tuesdays 12 – 1pm:
* Organ Systems and Our Bodies … ‘live’ class is now finished/ is now available ‘flexible/recorded’
* An Introduction to Physical Chemistry … ‘live’ class is now finished/ is now available ‘flexible/recorded’
* That’s a lot of Energy! … ‘live’ class is now finished/ is now available ‘flexible/recorded’
* Scientific Skills … starts Feb 24th (2026) (will also be available ‘flexible/recorded’)
* An Introduction to Natural History … starts Apr 21st (2026) (will also be available ‘flexible/recorded’)
* Another 6 week science short course of your choice (flexible/recorded) format
Fee: Total combined fee for the program is £250, for an academic year
Who This Course is For: Young people aged 13+ yrs (ages are a guideline)
What these Courses Include: Each small-group short course includes: weekly video tutorials (avail. 24/7); support learning materials / documents / resources; weekly activities (such as projects, quizzes, assignments with personal feedback, etc. ); direct access to a passionate, knowledgeable tutor; easy access via the online “Canvas” learning platform (and Zoom); small group sizes, for personal attention!
