Introduction to Genetics (6 sessions – £45) An online, tutor-led small group short course for home educated / homeschooling students

Course Summary: A fascinating course covering the basics of genetics and inheritance, we will explore what DNA is and how it was discovered, how traits are passed down through generations and how it is that DNA makes us who we are and allows all our cells to have such different functions. This course is a platform for the future more advanced genetics courses I will be rolling out and also covers the aspects of genetics and inheritance needed for IGCSE Biology. This course is an excellent stand-alone course and is also a PRE-IGCSE course.

Who This Course is For: Young people aged 12+ yrs

What this Course Includes: Each small-group short course includes: weekly video tutorials (avail. 24/7); support learning materials / documents / resources; weekly activities (such as projects, quizzes, assignments with personal feedback, etc. ); direct access to a passionate, knowledgeable tutor; easy access via the online “Canvas” learning platform (and Zoom).
