An Introduction to Forces (6 sessions – £45) An online, tutor-led small group short course for home educated / homeschooling students

Course Summary: This course is going to explore what forces are and how they work -how do they impact us in our day to day lives? We will think about friction and motion and dip into my favourite force – gravity as well as learning to understand the difference between forces and pressure. We will spend a bit of time getting to know some of the people whose investigations and discoveries have helped us to understand forces in the way we do now. An excellent precursor to students hoping to do a physics IGCSE, as well as a superb stand-alone course (and this course is also included in the 1yr Upper KS3 Combined Physics Curriculum program).

Who This Course is For: Young people aged 12+ yrs

What this Course Includes: Each small-group short course includes: weekly video tutorials (avail. 24/7); support learning materials / documents / resources; weekly activities (such as projects, quizzes, assignments with personal feedback, etc. ); direct access to a passionate, knowledgeable tutor; easy access via the online “Canvas” learning platform (and Zoom).
