Introduction to Astronomy (6 sessions – £45) An online, tutor-led small group short course for home educated / homeschooling students

Course Summary: Perfect for those who are curious about what we see in the sky, this course will teach you to spot asterisms, know when to look for planets, recognise the different phases of the moon as well as the various lunar features visible from earth and begin to grasp the interactions between the earth, moon and sun. We will also learn more about the people who discovered and charted the various heavenly bodies, this course is an excellent precursor for a GCSE in Astronomy and will involve some maths. This course is an excellent stand-alone course and is also a PRE-GCSE course.
