The Incredible World of Plants (6 sessions – £45) An online, tutor-led small group short course for home educated / homeschooling students

Course Summary: I can guarantee you that plants are way more interesting than you expect! This course is designed to get you passionate about plants and will have lots of opportunities for you to be doing investigations at home between lessons. Have you ever seen a plant having a snack? So where do they get their energy from? How do plants know to grow towards the Sun? How can we grow entire plants from a few leaves without using any seeds? This course will give you an amazing foundation for an IGCSE in Biology as well as improving your gardening skills and giving you an increased understanding of the things you see in the world around you. An excellent precursor to students hoping to do a biology IGCSE, as well as an excellent stand-alone course. This course is also available as part of the KS3 Biology Combined Curriculum Program.
