Fundamentals of Chemistry – 6 session short course – £45 (13yrs+)

A solid foundation for any future studies in chemistry, we explore what an atom is, their structure and how it differs between elements, the periodic table and how it is arranged and what we can learn about different elements from it. We then build up to how atoms join together to form compounds, why some elements are more reactive than others and learn how to write and balance chemical equations. Ideal for more academically confident students or for those who have studied chemistry before but would benefit from a refresher (other learners are advised to select the ‘Getting Started in Chemistry’ course which has a more gentle pace). An excellent stand-alone course & PRE-IGCSE course. 

Each short course includes: weekly online, video tutorials; a wide range of opportunities to be inspired and be creative (projects, quizzes and activities with personal feedback); weekly learning documents plus extra support materials and resources; direct access to a passionate, knowledgeable tutor; easy access via the online Canvas learning platform (and Zoom)
