Art Around the World  …  6 weeks (£45)

In this fun and fascinating course, we will explore art pieces from different cultures around the world – learning about why they are important and what they mean to local communities.
We will look at art and design works considered culturally significant from countries around the world, including the USA, Canada, the UK, France, New Zealand and South Africa.
Learners will gain an understanding of how art and design is relevant to cultural identity, societies and communities and how important the meaning behind them is.
Young people will also be encouraged and given resources & ideas to create ideas of their own!

Our courses for 11+ year olds are available to enrol in year-round, with both an “Online, Live” format as well as an “Online,Flexible Timing/Recorded” format, subject to availability.

° Available: Online, Live – Starts Tuesday July 2nd at 12:00noon (runs for 5 weeks until July 30, then final session Aug 13)
