An Introduction to Natural History (5 sessions – £45) An online, tutor-led small group short course for home educated / homeschooling students

Course Summary: A perfect course for anyone interested in Natural History, as well as anyone considering doing the Natural History GCSE. In this fun and interactive course, we get to know some local organisms, their habitats and how they interact within their ecosystems. Learners will be encouraged to keep nature journals during the course and document and research what they are seeing. Ideas for field studies will be given and we will consider how we can have a positive impact on our environment both now and in response to future challenges. This course is also available as part of an upper KS3 Science Curriculum Bundle.
Who This Course is For: Young people aged 13+ yrs
What this Course Includes: Each small-group short course includes: weekly video tutorials (avail. 24/7); support learning materials / documents / resources; weekly activities (such as projects, quizzes, assignments with personal feedback, etc. ); direct access to a passionate, knowledgeable tutor; easy access via the online “Canvas” learning platform (and Zoom).
