All tutor-led HomeMadeEducation homeschool courses always cover the required content and include:  i) weekly online tutorials, ii) detailed support materials, iii) tutorial recordings that are available 24/7 for the duration of the course, iv) regular assignments /activities /projects (with personal and detailed feedback), v) small group sizes, vi) full tutor support.  Materials are proprietary and specifically developed solely for our own learners. All courses are taught by subject experts who are current/former home educators, and all courses are designed and created by the person teaching

Primary and Secondary courses are available in several formats, as young people often have a preferred way of learning:

1. Online “Live” format:  scheduled, live and interactive courses use an online learning platform which is very easy to use and has:   real-time audio, interactive whiteboard, chat room and much more – so young people can experience the best of our multi-media courses.  This platform does not use live two-way video, so young people are assured of their privacy.   “Live” schedules run to a regular weekly, term-time schedule which can be found in the HomeMadeEducation Course Guidebook.  This format uses the Canvas learning platform and Zoom, and includes video tutorials, documents, assignments, full tutor support, small group sizes.
2. Online “Flexible/Recorded” format:   available 24/7 and available to work through at your own paced, and not to a set schedule.    Available with same range of content, materials and tutor support as the “Live” format.
3. Private 1-to-1 tutoring is also available

Ellis’s Worldventures has a unique ‘weekly drop’ format with weekly updates, activities, and projects; learners work at their own pace and progress through the course according to their own schedule. The course tutor is only an email away!

Tutor-led GCSE/IGCSE courses: All tutor-led courses always: cover the required exam board syllabus; include weekly online tutorials, detailed support materials, tutorial recordings that are available 24/7 for the duration of the course, weekly assignments (including exam questions), personal and detailed homework feedback (including specific advice on improvements/exam skills), weekly online ‘live’ drop-in sessions for learners (just turn up to as many as you need) to discuss any topics/questions/issues, and full tutor support.    Materials are proprietary and specifically developed solely for our own learners.   All courses are taught by subject experts who are current/former home educators, and all courses are designed and created by the person teaching the course.  These courses are available in 2 formats, as young people often have a preferred way of learning.   This makes it easy for you to tailor a course to your own needs:
