To celebrate 5 wonderful years of working with HomeMade Education and our learners and families, Caitlin has decided to host a writing competition.

There will be 3 categories: poetry, prose, and non-fiction. There will be 3 age categories: up to 11, 12-16, 17+ (length guidelines – approx 40 lines of poetry or 500 words of prose)

Please send along your entries using the email address below, and please include: a subject line that it is a competition entry; your young person’s full name, genre and age categories. (The deadline for entries is 7th April 2025!)

Winning entries will be published on our social media pages (with entrants’ permission of course) and will receive a certificate and book bundle prize. We are happy to accept unthemed entries but if you would like a theme to work on, the theme for this competition is “inspiration”. Happy writing!
