IGCSE Economics

IGCSE Economics – EdExcel – Edexcel International GCSEs are studied in over 55 countries worldwide and at over 350 independent schools in the UK.

Economics is a unique subject – a social science with a business leaning.  Economics is the study of how societies, governments, businesses, households, and individuals allocate their scarce resources.

Economists are interested in incentives and prices, earnings and employment, investments and trade among many things.   This course is designed to give students a sound understanding of economics, and the ability to use knowledge, skills and understanding appropriately in the context of individual countries and the global economy.  Economics is a great crossover with business, sociology and global development.
