UK Law, Power & Politics – SLAW (6 session short course – £45) … Law, Politics and Citizenship in the UK – how are laws created in the UK?  what does ‘citizenship’ actually mean?   What is the difference between being a deviant and being a criminal? We answer those questions and explore other topics such as how does the legal system work in the UK, what are lobby and ‘interest’ groups, and what kind of power does the media hold.

An ideal course for young people interested in UK law, politics, philosophy and sociology. This is an excellent stand-alone course but is also a great GCSE Sociology taster course!
